Dodleston Village Foundation
The Dodleston Village Foundation (DVF) was set up in 1979 to provide and maintain a Village Hall and Recreational field for the inhabitants of Dodleston, Lower Kinnerton and Marston Cum Lache.
The DVF is an organisation of members of the Dodleston community, which organises events in the village in order to fundraise for the Village Hall and Playing field that they keep for the village.
The success of the DVF can be gauged by the use to which its assets are put. Currently the Village Hall hosts Pre-School 4 mornings a week, with a Babies and Toddlers group occupying the 5th midweek morning. Other regular users are the Village Primary School, Dodleston Youth Players, the Parish Council, Zumba, Fitness classes, Dance Classes, Brownies, Guides, Badminton, the Women's Institute, Whist, Leisure and History groups.
For more information, please visit the DVF Facebook Page.

Dodleston and District Women's Institute
The Women's Institute (WI) was formed in 1915 to revitalise rural communities and encourage women to become more involved in producing food during the First World War. Since then the organisation's aims have broadened and the WI is now the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. The WI will celebrate its centenary in 2015 and currently has 212,000 members in around 6,600 WIs. The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.
